Hi, I'm Autumn

If you feel stuck in anxious thoughts, overwhelmed by your relationship with food or your body, or you're feeling unsure how to move forward in this season of your life, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in Ontario, supporting individuals across Niagara and online who are struggling with anxiety, body image concerns, eating challenges, and life transitions. My work is grounded in helping you feel more at ease in your mind, more connected to yourself, and more confident in how you move through the world.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together, we work to quiet self-criticism, deepen self-understanding, and build coping tools that lead to meaningful, lasting change, not just short-term relief.

Sessions are individual, one-on-one, and 60 minutes in length. We can meet in person in St. Catharines or virtually across Ontario, depending on what feels most supportive for you.

Who I Am as a Therapist

I’ve been practicing as a psychotherapist for over four years and was born and raised in Niagara, where I continue to live and work today. Being part of this community matters to me, and it shapes how I show up in my work, grounded, relational, and deeply invested in the people I support.

I’m a relational therapist who believes therapy should feel human, safe, and collaborative, not overly clinical or intimidating. My approach is warm, engaged, thoughtful, and present. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, imperfect, and fully yourself.

Clients often describe our work together as calming, validating, and practical. In sessions, you can expect a balance of emotional support, meaningful reflection, gentle challenging when helpful, and tangible tools you can apply in your everyday life. I aim to help you feel both deeply understood and empowered to make real, sustainable changes outside of therapy.

I bring both professional training and lived experience into the therapy space. Having navigated my own experience with anxiety allows me to approach clients with empathy, understanding, and respect for how overwhelming and consuming these struggles can feel. I’m intentional about creating an environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

If you feel nervous about starting therapy, unsure where to begin, or worried about being judged, you’re not alone. Many people come to therapy feeling hesitant or uncertain at first. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, respectful, and manageable for you, with no pressure to have everything figured out.

My work is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based care and tailored to your unique needs, never a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m also committed to ongoing learning and professional development to ensure my work remains thoughtful, informed, and responsive to the people I support.

Outside of therapy, I value balance, curiosity, and self-compassion, principles I bring into both my personal life and the therapy space

Education and Training

I hold a Master of Science in Education (Clinical Mental Health Counselling) from Niagara University and a Bachelor of Arts from Brock University.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic models to support your specific goals, challenges, and lived experience.

My clinical training includes:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E)

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

Therapy is always tailored to you, shaped by your needs, your pace, and what feels most supportive in your process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are sessions covered by insurance?

Many extended health benefits plans cover psychotherapy with a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). Coverage varies depending on your provider and policy, so it’s recommended that you confirm your specific benefits with your insurance company.

How does payment work?

Payment is due at the end of each session via e-transfer, and receipts are provided for reimbursement. We do not provide direct billing.

Do you offer sliding scale options?

Yes. I reserve a limited number of spaces on my caseload for sliding scale clients. This is something we can discuss during a phone consultation. I believe therapy should be as accessible as possible, and I’m committed to supporting clients in a way that feels financially sustainable.

Do you offer in-person and virtual sessions?

Yes. Sessions are available in person in St. Catharines and virtually across Ontario, depending on what feels most supportive and accessible for you.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book online through my booking system or reach out via the contact form or email if you have questions before scheduling.

What if I feel nervous about starting therapy?

Feeling nervous or unsure is completely normal, especially if this is your first time in therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
